Sortes Virgilianae is an ancient method of seeking advice or telling your fortune through passages selected randomly from works by the Roman poet Virgil.
This site uses the Aeneid API to provide a few lines selected at random from Virgil’s epic poem. The (default) English version uses E. Fairfax Taylor’s 1907 translation. There is also a Latin version.
